Meet Damo
Qld born, Damo spent most of his younger years surfing the world class, then uncrowded waves of the Tweed Coast. He moved to Sydney as a young apprentice, where he learned the ancient art form of Stone Masonry, while working on both modern, and heritage sandstone architecture. He relocated to Northern NSW, where he established his sole-operated business in 2023, and began to develop an impressive portfolio (including). In 2010, he moved 2 hours south with his young family, to the tiny village of Brooms head, near Yamba. Through hard work, dedication, and deep love of his trade, he has continued to build a legacy of stone structures that are consistently made to meet the expectations of Damos high standards and eye for detail. He has trained two apprentices, and is a revered tradesperson in the local community. Damo is easy going, kind natured, and has a strong client-centred approach to his work. He has capacity to create works in stone of any nature or style, but has a particular interest in traditional, sandstone masonry.
